THE MISSION
The main mission of our organization is to educate and empower kids and youth of the incredible health benefits of healthy holistic living, well being, sustainability and creativity. An central part of our work targets impoverished and foster children and youth who went through physical and mental neglect and abuse.
WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF PLANT BASED FOODS ?
Massive modern scientific research provides growing evidence that plant based foods is essential to achieve optimal health, boosts the immune system, essential for faster cell regeneration and healing, supports overall emotional and physical well-being, and is kind to our planet. We believe the well balanced healthy human beings, are more capable of creating the desired life they design, free from chaos.
WHY IS THIS PROJECT SO IMPORTANT ?
Because disadvantaged children and foster youth are lacking accessibility, resources, support and information about health and nutrition in general, and more so: the importance and health benefits of plant based foods. On any given day, there are approximately half a million children in out-of-home care in the United States. Nearly half of all children in foster care have chronic medical problems, about half of children under five years old in foster care have developmental delays, and up to 80% of all children in foster care have serious emotional problems.
The focus of our work has been working in financially challenged areas in the US and Israel, and we look forward to expand to more locations, and establishing permanent centers around the world, where children and youth can have access to inspiring forms of education and training in creative fields - especially in the media and entertainment arts (film, animation, gaming, toy design etc.) in which they can make a positive impact in their own lives and in the world.
OUR VISION
Our central location is currently in Mount Shasta, California. The reason we have chosen this location, because Siskiyou County, in which Mount Shasta is located, is rated the POOREST county in California, and one of the most impoverished counties in the entire United States.
Our vision is to provide for the children and youth in the entire county a physical location on a private land on which we can operate a contemporary cultural center with state of the arts learning facilities and classes, an outdoor space for animals and animal therapy, a library and a computer lab, a performance hall, an enclosed garden, a playground and other fun amenities.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT THE BLESS THE CHILDREN PROJECT ?
We are in ongoing need for funding to maintain and expand this project, purchase supplies, equipment, educational materials and overall operational expenses.
